"Being the fellow who you are, we met people on every side who would stop and chat. We heard about the poor price of lamb from the farmer on his way to evening Mass, the farmer driving his cattle down the road stopped to tell us a bit about his farm, and the tobacconist in Ballina took a great deal of time with us, showing off his particular art. Finally, the craic and music in the local pub were as enjoyable as I had imagined. It could have been 1927 and the hopes that I had wrapped up in this vacation were fulfilled.

I have hundreds of snap shots and hours of video, but these moments were the highlights of our vacation. I can not thank you enough for making my dream of visiting the Ireland of my parents come true. What I can and will do is send family, friends, acquaintances and passers-by to you.
